Mouhamed Moriba Cissokho

Mouhamed Moriba Cissokho is a hip-hop activist and political leader. He is one of the leaders of the Y En A Marre movement, an urban civil society group that is a major political voice in Senegal. Moriba has extensive experience working with unions in the Global South and frequently represents Y En A Marre at international meetings in Africa and Europe.

Moriba is the coordinator of Face Aux Electeurs, a forum of engagement between presidential candidates and Senegalese youth, and he has run groups of volunteers working on active citizenship and engagement. Moriba founded Affia Communication, a digital communication firm that helps activist groups in Senegal with internal and external messaging and branding. He is also the creator and developer of Parole a La Jeunesse, a platform that encourages Senegalese youth to participate in local politics.

Moriba holds an MA in political science from Institut Superieur de Management and a BA in history from Cheikh Anta Diop University.
