Lindsay Parise is the associate director of student life and staff training at SIT, bringing over a decade of international education expertise. Her previous roles include assistant field director at Semester at Sea and assistant program manager for residential programs serving neurodivergent individuals. She also co-founded a nonprofit in Guatemala focused on experiential learning and community empowerment.
Parise is a member of Pulse and Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and has presented at the Forum on Education Abroad and Diversity Abroad’s Global Inclusion Conference, sharing insights on student mental health support and identity-based programming. Her approach integrates nearly 20 years of experience as a yoga and meditation teacher trainer with research-backed mindfulness practices to enhance students’ emotional resilience and intercultural competence during study abroad experiences.
Parise holds a graduate degree in international education from SIT Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Plymouth State University. She has lived in Italy, Guatemala, and Peru, has professional experience in every region of the globe, and language competency in Spanish.
