Emily Bulato

Emily’s background is Indonesian and Italian, which has had a profound impact on her identity and helps motivate her passion for intercultural learning. Emily spent most of her time in or near Boston, and she holds a BA in international relations from the University of Tampa with a focus on political economy and human rights. After graduation, Emily developed her love of international education through teaching English in Madrid, Spain. Prior to joining SIT, Emily worked as a program coordinator designing and leading study abroad programs for U.S. high school and university students, with a strong focus on sustainability. Her driving force is aiding students in having an unforgettable study abroad experience and creating a home away from home in Amsterdam.
