Amanda joined the Custom and Faculty-led Programs unit in 2021 as a programs manager, where she manages a global portfolio that includes both virtual and immersive custom and faculty-led programs, internships, global curriculum enhancements, and professional engagement programs. From 2018-2021, she served as the university relations coordinator and additionally served as the manager for Ohio 2020-2021. Prior to joining SIT, Amanda was a staffing specialist for Reliable Temps Inc. in Massachusetts, where she was born and raised. She is an alumna of SIT’s year-long International Honors Program, Beyond Globalization: Reclaiming Nature, Culture, and Justice, and the SIT Graduate Institute, where she earned her master’s in sustainable development. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Framingham State University. Amanda began studying and traveling abroad at the age of 13 and has had the opportunity to visit many countries around the world, both with SIT and as part of various volunteer experiences, including India, Tanzania, Ghana, Greece, Ecuador, Mexico, and New Zealand.
