Pell Match Program
"SIT'S Pell Grant Match Award Program gives students the opportunity to make their wishes come true in this tough economy. I can't express my gratitude nearly enough in words. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to see the world and my future!"

SIT Expands Pell Grant Match Program
SIT Study Abroad is pleased to announce the expansion of our Pell Grant Match Award program. SIT began this innovative program in 2010, offering matching funding to Pell grant recipients for select SIT Study Abroad programs. With this expanded initiative, SIT now provides matching grants to all students receiving Federal Pell Grant funding when it is applied to any SIT semester program.
The Federal Pell Grant Program provides need-based grants to low-income undergraduate students to promote access to postsecondary education. SIT is committed to making its study abroad programs affordable for a diversity of students, including low-income undergraduates who might otherwise not pursue international opportunities. The Pell Grant Match Award allows us to place SIT’s high-quality, field-based study abroad programs within greater financial reach of a wider range of undergraduate students.
