Graduate Programs in International Education

Learn to plan and manage international education and exchange programs from a leader in the field for 80 years.

SIT Graduate Institute offers the unique opportunity to earn a master’s degree in international education from an institution that also provides international exchange, study abroad, and development programs.

Graduates work as:

  • Directors of study abroad or international student services
  • Program designers
  • Exchange program managers
  • Community educators
  • International student recruiters

Students develop expertise in areas that include training, nonformal community-based education, language teaching administration, and service-learning.

Acquire a comprehensive education in the historical, theoretical, and social foundations of international education programs.

Students examine the effects of globalism, internationalization efforts, changing technology, and education policy on international programs. Reflective practice enables skills development in and deeper examination of each student’s chosen field.
