Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) Personality Assessment
The Myers-Briggs (MBTI) is the most widely used personality type assessment in the world. PIM and MAT students have the opportunity to be assessed at the beginning of the academic year. Students receive packets containing profiles on their personality type that aid in career planning and personal understanding. Also, Career Services offers a highly rated workshop 'Creating Your Career Focus' during the fall semester that requires Myers-Briggs results.
Jobs and Recruitment
We post thousands of job opportunities each year. These are sent in by organizations and institutions worldwide which work in the fields for which SIT provides training. Job postings can be reviewed in the career center or accessed by visiting Our World.
Each year Career Services brings to campus professional speakers and recruiters to make it possible for students to learn more about career possibilities and to build their professional network. Recruitment visits offer students the chance to interview for internships and professional positions while still on-campus. Career Services also assists students in networking with SIT alumni and World Learning staff to explore additional career and job options.

Organizations
Career Services is also the home of the 'Organization Resource Bank' (ORB), a collection of profiles on 800 organizations and institutions worldwide. Students can use the 'ORB' (formerly known as the "Lobster Tank") hardcopy in the Career Services office or access it on-line (in Microsoft Excel format). Resources covering a broad range of career-related topics as well as information on grants and scholarships are also available.
